What we collect, which is very little.

This site runs one analytics tool, Google Analytics 4, to count visits and see which sources send them, including AI assistants. It loads no advertising tags and no session recording. The only personal data we hold directly is what you type into a form and send us.

What changed on 2026-09-27

Until this date the page said we ran no analytics, and that was true. We added Google Analytics 4 because we sell AI visibility work and need to measure it on our own site: how many visitors arrive from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and search. We are telling you this rather than quietly editing the page, as the Changes section below promises.

What Google Analytics 4 does here

• Loads a script from googletagmanager.com and sends visit data to Google
• Sets first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_LLZX0GPJPV) to tell a returning visit from a new one
• Records pages viewed, the referring site, approximate location, device and browser type
• Runs only after you accept analytics in the banner. Decline, and nothing loads. You can change your answer any time with “Analytics settings” in the footer

We do not link it to Google Ads, turn on Google signals, or send it your name or email.

Analytics data is kept for 14 months, then deleted by Google automatically.

What this site still does not do

• No tracking pixels, no advertising tags, no session recording
• No third-party fonts: typography uses fonts already on your device, so no font CDN sees your visit
• No embedded video, social widgets, or chat popups

You can verify this: open your browser’s network tab and reload. Every request should be to this domain, googletagmanager.com or google-analytics.com. Anything else is a bug; tell us.

What we store in your browser

Two things, and only these. The Google Analytics cookies above, only if you accepted them. And your answer to the banner: a localStorage entry named aivw-analytics holding granted or denied. That entry never leaves your device. Clearing site data removes all of it.

What we collect when you contact us

When you submit a form we receive and store:

• Your name, email address, and company details if you provide them
• Your message, and which tier you selected
• The page you submitted from
• Your IP address and browser user-agent string, recorded for spam prevention and rate limiting

Why, and for how long

To answer you, and to deliver anything you asked for. That is the only purpose. Enquiries are kept while there is an active conversation and for as long as we may need the record for tax or legal purposes, then deleted.

What we never do

• We do not sell, rent or share your data
• We do not add you to a mailing list you did not explicitly ask to join
• We do not use your enquiry as a case study, quote, or logo without written permission
• We do not send a drip sequence after a free AI Visibility Check

Where it is stored

Enquiries: on our hosting provider’s servers and in the email inbox the enquiry is delivered to. Hosting is provided by Hostinger. Analytics data: with Google, under Google Analytics’ terms.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email hello@aivisibilitywire.com and we will action it and confirm when it is done. We recognise these rights regardless of where you are, including under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the EU/UK GDPR.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date below changes and we will say what changed rather than quietly editing the page.
